Lawyers’ Union to stage strike on Monday
Tripoli and Beirut Lawyers’ Union will stage a strike on Monday to demand the appointment of the Higher Council judge.

The Union said that the higher judge is an independent and autonomous post and not an employee subject to political bargains and gains.

The head of Beirut Lawyers’ Union Nohad Jabr and the head of Tripoli Lawyers’ Union Bassam Al-Daye revealed that further steps will be taken if the government fails to fill the vacant position.
