Following the meeting, Kanaan said that the Christian-Christian agreement is essential for the rapprochement between March 8 and March 14 camps, adding that the patriarch expressed interest in the said rapprochement.
Kanaan concluded by stressing the need to have a strong presidency that transcends divisions.
