Expired cheese and medications seized in North Lebanon
Quantities of expired cheese and medications were seized thrown on the main highway linking Zgharta to Tripoli, in “Tallat al Zahab”. The owners of the expired products got rid of them by throwing them on the roadside.

Security forces and the Consumer Protection Association rushed to the scene where boxes of rotten expired cheese were found thrown on the side of the highway. Another quantity was burnt in the valley separating the districts of Zgharta and Tripoli.

Meanwhile, large quantities of expired medications were seized thrown on the side of a side road leading a waste dump in Dhour el Hussein, in the town of Bebnine, Akkar.

It turned out that there was an attempt to burn them to hide all evidence.

A patrol from Berkayel’s police station and members of the state security rushed to the scene and launched investigations to disclose all details.
