Yasser Arafat’s safe uncovered

Acting Governor of Mount Lebanon Antoine Sleiman and the head of the southern suburbs police department Colonel Mohammad Damen displayed on Monday the large safe that was earlier found in al-Ramel al-Ali. The safe, whose contents are yet to be revealed, was found behind the Golden Plaza Hotel, the headquarters of late Palestinian President Yasser Arafat in the 80s.

The officials will await the presence of Mount Lebanon General Prosecutor before opening the safe.
