Lawyers of activists file complaint over forgery in trash file
Lawyers of “We Want Accountability” activists filed Wednesday a complaint before the Public Prosecution over forgery and corruption claims related to the waste export deal.

The complaint pertains to fraud, forgery and bribes received by the Lebanese officials in the trash dossier.

The lawyers called for launching investigations with Britain's Chinook Urban Mining International, the Council for Development and Reconstruction and the Lebanese officials who signed the deal.

Separately, another civil society group filed a complaint against Britain's Chinook Urban Mining International, whose manager is Mohammad Ali Ajami, accusing it of squandering public funds through forgery and fraud.
