Former Minister Michel Samaha left “Hotel Dieu” hospital on Thursday night morning, after he was admitted earlier on the same day due to a health problem he suffered during his trial session.
On Thursday, an ambulance transferred Samaha to Beirut's Hotel Dieu Hospital from the Military Court after he fell ill, leading his trial to be adjourned until February 23. Samaha, a main ally of Syrian President Bashar Assad, was released by the Military Court of Cassation on bail last month despite having been convicted of a terrorism plot to shake the country’s stability last year.
