Social Affairs Minister Rashid Derbass said Saturday that the only solution for the Syrian refugee crisis is reaching a ceasefire in Syria, establishing safe zones in the Syrian territories and implementing a political solution, noting that the concerns emerging over the possibility of resettling the refugees are “somehow right.”
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Derbass said that the northern city of Tripoli is a safe and stable region, but at the same time it is a poor area.
“Improving Tripoli’s situation will not cost too much,” he stated, urging all entrepreneurs to invest in the city.
