Lebanon is an entity without official demarcation lines.
The Lebanese-Syrian border is not demarcated, while the border with the occupied Palestinian territories is demarcated with a temporary blue line.
However, reports have emerged concerning the demarcation of the maritime borders of the Lebanese-Israeli exclusive economic zone.
In this regard, Speaker Nabih Berri revealed that the Lebanese government will submit an official request in this regard, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and the UN Security Council resolution number 1701.
Lebanon has been losing, and will continue to lose over time, more of its rights and maritime reserve of natural gas and oil. But if the demarcation of the borders was conducted under the supervision of the international organization, will it be 100% guaranteed?
