Interior Minister Mashnouq issues decrees calling on electoral bodies to hold municipal elections

Minister of Interior Nouhad Mashnouq issued four decrees calling on electoral bodies to hold municipal elections in South Lebanon, Nabatieh, North Lebanon and Akkar governorates.

The four decrees stated the following:

According to decrees No. 531, 532, 533, and 534 dated 01-04-2016, the municipal and mokhtar elections will be held in South Lebanon and Nabatieh governorates on Sunday 22-05-2016, while the municipal and mokhtar elections will be held in North Lebanon and Akkar governorates on Sunday 29-05-2016.
