Industry Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan stressed that the majority of food industries conform to the required standards, calling for placing clear action plans in order to increase exports and reduce imports.
The minister’s statements were made during the inauguration ceremony of the National Food Industry Day held in Biel.
For his part, Health Minister Wael Abou Faour noted that “Lebanon has reached a stage where we can testify that the Lebanese products have improved,” stating however that more work must be done for further improvement.
