REPORT: Arslan meets Salam, reiterates rejection to Costa Brava landfill

Lebanese Democratic Party leader Talal Arslan reiterated on Sunday his rejection to the Costa Brava landfill, adding that Choueifat’s residents do not trust the Lebanese state over the waste management crisis.

Arslan’s comments were made following his meeting with Prime Minister Tammam Salam along a delegation of Choueifat residents.

“If the decentralization of waste management is adopted, we will be ready to implement it,” Arslan noted.
