LU contract professors cling to their right for tenure
Contract professors of the Lebanese University staged a protest on Tuesday, reiterating their demands for full-time positions, a move coinciding with the cabinet session.

The protesters issued a statement demanding that their rights be respected, confirming their adherence to their legitimate right to receive tenure.

The protestors also called on LU head Adnan Sayyed Hussein and Education Minister Hassan Diab to adopt academic standards instead of sectarian and partisan ones.
