Aoun after meeting Rai: We forgive those who do us harm, following Jesus’ example

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai held a closed-door meeting with Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun in Bkerke on Friday, following the Good Friday Mass.

The meeting lasted for half an hour and tackled current issues.

Following the meeting, Aoun said “Today is the day of redemption for Christians […]; as Christ forgave his crucifers, we follow his example by forgiving those who do us harm.”
