770 million LBP stolen from teachers, ministry of education suspected

The executive board of the Association of Public Secondary School Teachers said on Tuesday that the teachers’ funds lost an estimated 770 million LBP to embezzlement, calling for those responsible to be punished.

The board said that the embezzlement took place in the Ministry of Education and various banks, calling for the money to be returned to its rightful owners.
