Lebanese citizen Ali Ahmad Ismail was shot in the back by an unknown assailant when he was entering his house in Qana after he returned from work at midnight.
He was transported to Jabal Amel Hospital in the southern city of Tyr where he underwent a surgery and is now in stable condition.
Ismail, who called on the authorities to reveal the identity of the assailant, stressed that he does not have any personal issue with anyone.
