Health Minister cancels registration of campho-pneumine and prohibits its sale
Health Minister Ali Hassan Khalil cancelled the registration of Campho-Pneumine Aminophylline Nourrissons 8 on Thursday and prohibited its sale. Khalil assigned the pharmaceutical inspection with the implementation of this decision.         

Khalil took this decision based on law 302/1 of 20/3/2012 whose second article stipulates canceling the registration of all medical products in the form of suppositories and containing derivatives of “terpenes” for children under the age of one year, pulling them out of the market and prohibiting their importation and sale in Lebanese markets.
