Public Health Minister Wael Abou Faour thanked Labor Minister Sejaan Azzi for the decision he took on Tuesday to install full coverage for drugs treating diseases as cancer, multiple sclerosis, pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension, hoping that this achievement will be completed soon by approving full coverage for medications treating chronic diseases, the prices of which exceed LBP 650 thousand.
While Minister Abou Faour never hid his “full favoritism towards the citizens and poor people,” he expressed at the same time his keenness on preserving the financial balance of the National Social Security Fund, which he deemed the most important social achievements in Lebanon.
