Man finds his family after 25 years thanks to Google Earth

An Indian orphan has been reunited with his family 25 years later, after he managed to locate his home village on Google Earth.

Saroo Brierley lost his Indian family when he was just five while begging at Khandwa train station in west India with his older brother.

Brierley accidentally boarded a train going in the wrong direction.

He was later adopted by an Australian couple and taken to Tasmania where he became a successful businessman.

Today, he tells of how he spent a decade scouring Google looking for signs of his hometown.
