Lebanon celebrates the 100th anniversary of Titanic sinking
On the 100th anniversary of the Titanic sinking, the passengers of the touristic ship “"Azamara Journey” stood for two minutes of silence in the North Atlantic, in the site of Titanic’s wreck.

The names of the 1517 victims were read out loud and commemorative ceremony was held onboard.

While in China, a hotel in Honk Kong reenacted the last dinner served onboard of the Titanic, offering the same dinner had by the first-class passengers before the ship sinked to the bottom of icy waters.

In Lebanon, the village of Hardin, in the Batroun region, organized a Mass in the Mar China church for the repose of the victims’ souls.
