A Palestinian leader in Fatah Movement, Abed Sultan, escaped on Sunday an assassination attempt.
Sultan went to visit his relative at the Miye Miye Palestinian refugee camp in Sidon, when an unknown assailant opened fire at him.
Consequently, Sultan's brother-in-law received hand and thigh wounds. He was then admitted to Sidon Governmental Hospital for treatment.
It is worth noting that Abed Sultan resides in Ain el-Helweh refugee camp and was injured during the recent clashes that took place in said camp.
