Public Works and Transportation Minister Ghazi Zeaiter announced on Wednesday that Rafic Hariri International Airport new perimeter wall construction works were launched, while works are being carried out to secure the ‘baggage handling system’.
Zeaiter said during his meeting with the Civil Aviation Administration that “they will fulfill all their duty to fortify the security of the airport.”
Zeaiter also pointed out to the mechanism that will be adopted in dealing with airport taxis and shuttles, in order to ensure the safety of travelers.
