Geagea says assassination attempt part of 40-year policy of “forcible subjugation”

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Tuesday that “my attempted assassination is not only an attempt to assassinate a particular person but rather it constitutes a policy that the Lebanese have been subjected to for 40 years; it is the policy of forcible subjugation.”

During his meeting in Maarab with a Druze-Christian delegation from Falougha, Geagea said that “the current cabinet resembles anything but a cabinet. However, it is responsible for the safety of civilians.”
