Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea declared that the municipality of Ain Dara has rejected any industrial establishments, expressing regret over the approval granted by the Industry Ministry, authorizing such establishments despite the objection of the residents.
After meeting with a delegation from the town’s municipality, Geagea stressed his support for their cause, criticizing the step taken by the judiciary summoning Ain Dara figures, including the mayor, Mokhtar and others, for interrogation due to their refusal to the building of a cement plant at the outskirts of their village.
