Minister Ali Hassan Khalil urges International community to fulfill obligations over Syrian refugees
Minister of Finance Ali Hassan Khalil urged on Thursday the International community to fulfill its obligations towards Lebanon over the Syrian refugee crisis.
Khalil noted that a clear mechanism must be placed to help Lebanon in dealing with such a crisis.
“There is one million and 500 thousand Syrian refugees in Lebanon which makes the International community compelled and not free to choose to help Lebanon,” he concluded by saying.
