A huge fire erupted in the outskirts of the town of al-Bouwayda in Marjeyoun and quickly expanded through the dry land fields over an area estimated to be around 40 dunums of uncultivated lands.
Civil defense teams are working on extinguishing the flames with every possible means in order to prevent it from reaching nearby houses, according the state-run National News Agency.
