Angry fishermen briefly blocked Friday the seaside road in the locality of Jnah in both directions to protest the dumping of sand remnants into a nearby sea used by the area’s fishermen.
A similar movement was held on Sunday.
After sand washing, authorities have allegedly dumped the leftovers into the sea, affecting marine life and therefore negatively impacting the fishermen.
