Qahwaji meets with Ambassador Ali to discuss current general situation

Lebanese Army Commander, General Jean Qahwaji, on Monday met with the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdul Karim Ali at his office in Yarze on Monday.

Talks reportedly featured high on the current general situation.

Qahwaji had earlier received State Minister Panos Majian, with talks also touching on the prevailing situation in the country.

The Acting Force Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, Brigadier General Santi Bonfanti, had also been to Yarze today on a farewell visit upon the end of his mission in Lebanon.
