Reports emerged Friday stating that a dolphin was found dead off the coast of Kesserwan.
Sources said that this is not the first dolphin to be found dead in the Lebanese sea, adding that five others were also found dead in the same area within one week, raising several question marks over the causes.
In this regard, APAF (Animals Pride And Freedom) association said in a post published on their Facebook page that “fishermen are killing dolphins and are even using poisons, since they are disturbed by their presence because the dolphins are eating the fish caught in their nets.”
