LU contracted professors threaten to escalate if their demands are unmet
Contracted professors working for the Lebanese University staged a demonstration on Wednesday on the road leading to the Presidential Palace near Bou-Khalil supermarket at the same time when the cabinet’s session was being held.

Protesters held banners asking for a fairer treatment from the LU. Protesters warned that if the cabinet does not show any good intentions in the near future by discussing their rights in the next sessions at the most, they will escalate their movement once again.

“We will not back down no matter the cost and regardless of the promises”, the protesters said.
