Bassil’s remarks were made in Ain Dara as part of his tour to the villages of Aley district.
Speaking of the file related to quarries, Bassil reminded the residents that “when he was a minister of energy, he suggested building a dam in the town, but they refused.”
“When we say no to quarries, we must call for their nationwide closure,” the minister said.
