MP Mohammad Safadi stressed Thursday that “the election of a new president is an absolute priority for the institutions to work properly,” declaring his support for the candidate who acquires the Christian majority and his personal support for former PM Saad Hariri as new Prime Minister in accordance with the Constitutional course.
Following his meeting with Safadi in the presence of MP Alain Aoun, MP Simon Abi Ramia said that this meeting comes within the framework of a decision issued by the Free Patriotic Movement to hold talks with all the blocs and political factions in Lebanon and to go together with Hariri’s initiative in this presidential issue.
