Sleiman to Aoun: At least consensual president does not beg for the post
President Michel Sleiman said on his Twitter feed: “At least a consensual president does not need to beg for the presidency position; on the contrary all parties call on him to accept the position.”

Sleiman’s tweet came in response to statements made by the Head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun.

On Saturday, Aoun had declared via Facebook that the current the past experience does not encourage the approval of a consensual president once again.
