Patriarch Rai says electing a president is a new dawn for Lebanon
Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rai hoped Tuesday that the elections scheduled on Monday would run positively and bring back democracy.
 
Al-Rai stated when he received a press syndicate delegation that electing a new president is like a new dawn for Lebanon, emphasizing the need to elect a powerful president backed by popular political blocs, in addition to respect democracy and implement Taef agreement.
