REPORT: Mother jailed over custody case released
The Protecting Lebanese Women campaign said on Monday that the Jaafari Court decided to "suspend the ruling in Fatima Hamzeh case."

Speaking to reporters outside the Ghobeiri police station near Beirut where she was held in, Hamzeh declared following her release, "revolution against oppression" of Shiite custody.
She also called on all women not to be silent over what many consider to be unfair religious regulations.

Last week, the court sparked protests when Hamzeh was jailed after refusing to abide by a court ruling to give custody of her 3-1/2-year-old son Ali to her estranged husband.
