The Zelkan camp hosts some 3,400 people, including 95 families, who fled Mosul and other parts of northern Iraq affected by the fighting.
With winter around the corner and temperatures dropping, many have begun preparing their tents by pulling plastic sheets over them for extra insulation and protection from the rain.
There are currently around 1,000 tents in Zelkan, with capacity for more.
As the fighting to retake Mosul moves deeper into urban territory, further displaced people are expected to arrive.
