Afghanistan ready to take over security responsibility
Afghan forces are ready to take over the security responsibility in 2013, Afghanistan’s ministry of defense announced on Monday in response to newly-elected French President Francois Hollande’s pledge to pull out French troops before the scheduled date.    

Official spokesman for the Afghan National Army, Mohammad Zahir Azimi, said that the NATO’s position is more important that unilateral decisions, confirming Afghanistan’s readiness to take over security responsibility in 2013.
