Jreissaty: NSSF, hospitals reach agreement over medical tariffs

Labor Minister Salim Jreissaty declared on Wednesday that the Board of directors of the National Social Security Fund reached an agreement over medical tariffs approved by the cabinet so that every NSSF patient will have access to hospital care without any obstacle.

Following a meeting with NSSF general director Dr. Mohammad karki and head of the Private Hospitals Association Suleiman Haroun, Jreissaty said that this achievement is very important for the NSSF, private hospitals and NSSF patient seeking treatment.

Jreissaty declared that the second achievement lies in the issuance of a decree to form conciliatory labor councils in Lebanon after nine months of wait.

The labor minister added that the agreement reached concerning hospitals and medical tariffs resulted from assiduous efforts deployed by the NSSF.
