Netanyahu: Israeli army continues strikes on Hezbollah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that the army continues to strike Hezbollah and is on the verge of “storming” the Bint Jbeil area, amid growing pressure to reach a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.

In a video statement, Netanyahu said he had instructed the military to continue reinforcing the security zone in southern Lebanon.

Regarding Iran, Netanyahu said the United States is keeping Israel informed of developments and that the two sides are in agreement.

He added, “We are prepared for any scenario” if a ceasefire with Iran fails.
