Saida resident kidnapped, man robbed on Ksara Rd

3 unknown assailants obstructed the road Friday dawn, of Saida citizen Basma Al-Sabea who was in her vehicle in the “Qiya’a” district.

The woman was then attacked and taken to an unknown place.

In a separate event, armed muggers in a black ‘Pathfinder’ blocked the road of citizen Wajih Hachem who was on route towards the Ksara-Zahle Rd.

The assaulters robbed Hachem of US $35,000 as he was heading to his supermarket located in the “Kark” area.

Hachem added that he had made a currency exchange earlier at Chtaura transferring 50 million LBP to US dollars.

Thursday evening saw the kidnap of citizen Mohammad Hassan Al-Turkmani by unknown assailants who stormed into his house located in Qaa. Gun shots were heard as the abductors drove away in a black “Envoy” and silver “Cherokee” Jeep.
