President Aoun says new waste management plan to be drafted soon
President Michel Aoun said on Monday that a new waste management plan for Lebanon is in on its way.
Aoun’s comments were made during a meeting with a delegation of municipalities’ heads.
This plan would provide relief for regions affected by the waste crisis, he said.
Furthermore, the administrative decentralization of Lebanon’s waste management will be discussed at an upcoming Parliament session, as well as the water and electricity issues.
