Minister Hamadeh asserts keenness to include wage scale in budget draft
Education Minister Marwan Hamadeh asserted on Friday his keenness to include the new wage hike for civil servants, as well as public and private teachers in the 2017 budget draft.
He also noted that discussions over the wage scale will continue next Monday.
Hamadeh’s comments were made during an educational forum.
The much-awaited new salary scale was approved in 2012, but is still languished inside Parliament.
