REPORT: Lebanon proposes plan to deal with refugee crisis at Brussels conference

The Lebanese plan to deal with the repercussions of the Syrian displacement crisis costs USD 10 billion that should be acquired within 5 to 7 years.

 

The plan includes the development of the infrastructure of energy, water, sewage, telecommunications, education and healthcare, in a bid to support the hosting communities through the creation of jobs for the Lebanese people, while benefitting from the Syrian workforce and ensuring sustainable development and stability.
