Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani headed Wednesday a meeting for the “Committee for Coordination and Cooperation between General Guarantor Bodies” for the first time, where he stressed that the main role of the committee is to reduce the hospital costs on the Lebanese state, and to improve the medical coverage and services for all benefactors.
Hasbani noted that the committee has a long path to cross, adding that they are trying to compensate for the lost ten years, during which the committee failed to convene and assume its duties.
