A number of university graduates from the region of Wadi Khaled staged a symbolic sit-in on Saturday, during which they briefly blocked the main road at the entrance of the town, calling on the concerned authorities to employ them to teach at the local schools, instead of employing teachers from other areas.
A delegation from the National Youth Union joined the protesters to express solidarity and confirm the rightfulness of their demands.
