REPORT: Macron eyes legislative polls after presidential win
French newly elected Emmanuel Macron will begin getting his house in order after his landslide victory on Sunday.
The independent centrist beat his rival Marine Le Pen from the far-right National Front in Sunday's presidential vote.
Macron, who will be inaugurated this Sunday, is now looking to use his popularity to win hundreds of seats for his party En Marche! in legislative elections, in more than one month from now.
