Maronite Bishops urge leaders to agree on new vote law

The Maronite Bishops reiterated on Wednesday their call for the Lebanese leaders to draft a new vote law that avoids the country a political and constitutional crisis.

The Bishops’ comments were made during their monthly meeting in Bkerke whereby they warned against the corruption “ravaging the state’s institutions.”

The Bishops also saluted the efforts made by the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Internal Security Forces for their full readiness in addressing terrorism.

They also noted to the Lebanese troops that are still abducted by terrorist organizations, calling for deploying the necessary efforts to free them.
