The "Sawsanat Sawfar flower," or Iris Sofarana flower, is rapidly disappearing from the Mount Lebanon village of Sawfar, due to climate change and lack of preservation techniques.
In this regard, Green Hand organization, an environmental, social, cultural, non-governmental organization, launched an application program to protect the flower.
