Within the framework of the case of Farah Qassab’s death after undergoing a plastic surgery at one of the hospitals specialized in esthetic and cosmetic, Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani issued the following measures:
1- Decision banning the performance of surgeries requiring general anesthesia at day hospitals or plastic surgery centers
2- - Decision banning the performance of surgeries requiring general anesthesia at Nader Saab hospital specialized in esthetic and cosmetic
3- Sending a letter to the Public Prosecution to investigate the death of Farah Qassab
4- Sending letter to the Order of Physicians in Beirut to conduct an investigation into the case Farah Qassab’s death, giving the syndicate a period of two weeks to clarify the medical and technical points.
