REPORT: Mashnouq’s call to reinstate death penalty stirs controversy on social media
Minister of Interior Nouhad Mashnouq called on Friday for the "re-enactment of the death penalty, mainly in cases of premeditated murder," in reference to the murder of Roy al-Hamouch.
 
Mashnouq’s call stirred controversy on social media where some users supported him while others rejected such statements.
