The Beirut municipality Friday cancelled the waste collection and management tenders due to a 'technical error' in the terms and conditions set for bidding companies.
After tenders were submitted on Monday and were supposed to be opened on Tuesday, it was discovered that the terms and conditions presented to the companies has a technical error which contradicts what was agreed by the council previously, which led to cancelling the bids.
